Any text can be perceived as having the potential of generating new texts.Buddhist texts seek to generate changes in the consciousness which lead to its supreme states /nirvana, anuttara, prajnaparamita, etc/ Consciousness is believed to be an inner text and outer texts serve as an impulse that triggers the mechanism of inner text generation. |
