| Abstract: | In the Russian poetry of the beginning of this century /O.Mandelshtam, T.Ardov, S.Gorodetskii,, I.Erenburg/ one comes across antropomorphic and animated images of the tram: it has its esoteric language, its noises, eyes, eroticism, it is compared to heroes of myths and fairy tales. This phenomenon is attributed to the mythogeneous nature of the city which explains the transformation of technical novelties of everyday life into cultural symbols deeply rooted in traditional and mythological contents. |
