| Abstract: | Belyi presents the opposition of "logical" to "imaginary" as a consequence of functional asymmetry of cerebral hemispheres. This opposition can be clearly traced throughout his "Third Symphony". The article puts forward the assumption that there exists a whole class of texts the poetical universe of which is isomorphic with the structure of the brain. |
