| Abstract: | Tautological rhymes produced by repetition of the same word are of great interest from the viewpoint of poetical semantics. The article offers a review of Russian original and translated poetry drawing attention to the variety of usage and functions of tautological rhyme. A comparison is drawn with Iu. Lotman's work on omonymical rhyme. |
