Abstract:Internal semiotic heterogeny is a condition sine qua non of any intellectual structure. That of a quasi adequate translation could serve as a simplified model of the creative intellectual process. Individual differences between human beings are a fundamental feature of man as an object of culture and semiotics. The mechanism of culture is fuelled by the insufficiency of information at the disposal of any individual intellect which induces communication with other such intellects. The system of relationships which links the individual intellects into a whole is similar to the one which unites the individual languages and semiotic systems of these to bring about the supraindividual intellect, i.e. culture.
