| Abstract: | The works of O.Freidenberg are referred to in a broad variety of disciplines from the theory of literature and mythology to urbanistics and the history of puppet theatres. Her oeuvre puts her in one line with L.Vygostkii, M.Bakhtin, G. Shpet. The term "pre-literature" introduced by Freidenberg was first laughed at and now it is in firm use. Pre-literary material is given a new sense when transformed into literary genres and plots: literary meaning is created through the rethinking of pre-literary material. |
