| Abstract: | In the l9th century when the St.Petersburg text was shaped it was the sole city in Russia with a complex and profound political, economic, intellectual and symbolic life texture capable of giving genuine answers to essential questions. The St.Petersburg text reflected the quintessense of life on the brink of death and projected ways to salvation. These texts were prophetic as far as Russian history was concerned. |
