| Abstract: | This study aims to investigate the patterns of collaborations in tourism research community. Social network analysis is applied on co-authorship data collected from top three tourism journals. It is uncovered that even though the tourism researcher network is large and complex, it is scattered in the form of many core groups of researchers acting sometimes as network nodes. Moreover, presented and discussed are significant network characteristics with the sociology behind the significance. |
