| Abstract: | This article examines an organizational field where competing institutional logics existed for a long time. Four mechanisms for managing the rivalry of competing logics are identified that facilitate and strengthen the individual identities of key actors, providing a way for competing logics to co-exist and individually direct the behaviour of different actors. |
