| Abstract: | With the disappearance of antagonistic blocs a new architecture is emerging in Europe, with European Community as its main building bloc. The new situation requires rethinking of Switzerland's strategy: it must choose between avoiding discrimination in the access to the EC's economic and social space or a policy with the ambition to participate as equal partner in the shaping of the country's European environment. |
