Abstract:There was a lack in computer communication of agencies and stations. Thus two big broadcast computer software companies, DDS (Donovan Data System) and JDS (Jefferson-Pilot Data Services) decided to carry out a test together to link 30 stations. By this agencies could save a considerable amount of money. The question is still open who pays the bill of the experiment.
