Abstract:The article examines the tendency to not respond to organizational surveys. The hyphothesis is that perceived organizational support, social exchange, procedural justice and the feeling of being exploited in social relationships predicts members' compliance to survey completion. Indeed, there is a direct correlation between continuesly not responding to surveys and the above mentioned characteristics. The implications include that survey-based findings can not be generalized to a too great extent, and that techniques for increasing response rates may not be effective in reaching the groups of nonrespondents.
