Abstract: | Concern has been raised about the practical relevance of business research in strategic management. The aim of strategic management is to promote the survival and growth of organizations. Thus, the field's viability is dependent on its ability to address issues of importance. This study first proposes a practitioner's research agenda based on strategic issues identified by CEO's of major USA corporations, and secondly, explores the issue of research relevance in strategic management by comparing the strategic issues deemed relevant by managers and academics. |
