Abstract: | This paper analyses the different ideal-types of management, and creates an alternative to the old ones. According to Weber (1958) there are four ideal-types of management, which are supported by moral point of view related to a secularized Protestant Ethic, which can be characterized by its relatively high emphasis on materialism and individualism. This paper takes Anabaptist-Mennonite moral point of view when developing a new ideal-type of management that focuses on servant leadership, stakeholding, job crafting and sustaincentrism. |
