| Abstract: | This paper explores how the current relevance of social capital derived from task-advice network influences an actor's exploratory learning environment. Analyses suggest that a large, sparse task advice network improves an actor's exploratory learning environment only when the direct and indirect network ties are composed of current network contacts. |
