Abstract:This article discusses entrepreneurship in transitional public policy environments. A framework for describing entrepreneurial strategies by corporations in transitional public policy is developed. Four strategies are identified: Pre-emptive, optioned, synchronized and adaptive. Propositions to show how each of these strategies has helped firms to respond to transitional policy environments are also presented.
