| Abstract: | This paper's main objective is to expand Granovetter's strong and weak hypothesis, which is broadly used in studies explaining the structure and operation of networks. It is argued that strong ties are instrumental for business activity and used extensively to provide information and also to maintain and advance business and personal reputation. |
