| Abstract: | Large amounts of research has been conducted about the relationship between top management team (TMT) characteristics and firm financial performance, much of which is relying on demographic data. However, findings across studies are not consistent. This paper offers modest support for direct relationships but indicates moderating effects by conducting a meta-analysis of several TMT indicators. In addition, confirmatory factor analysis enriches the findings by exploring possible moderating and intervening factors. |
