| Abstract: | This paper deals critically with the implications of 'Evidence based' management (hereafter as: Ebm.) from the perspective of formalism. 'Ebm' is a popular contemporary account of the relationship btw. research and practice in management studies. Identified and examined are different ideological strands in the literature on 'Ebm': pragmatism, progress, systematization, technique, accumulation. These are the means by which 'Ebm' approaches' advocates construct a compelling story about the value of this approach. |
