Abstract:Both researchers and managers are increasingly interested in how firms can pursue ambidextrous learning (hereafter as: a-lrng.), that is, simultaneously exploring new knowledge domains while exploiting current ones. This study identified two distinctive architectures of intellectual capital facilitating a-lrng. etc. As organization contexts to support these architectures, there are also identified two alternative HR configurations facilitating a-lrng. etc. The framework may provide valuable theoretical implications for HRM systems as to the issues of internal fits and best configurations.
