Abstract:The article presents a measure for evaluating performance of a theme park, as perceived by the customer. The measure is developed by conducting personal interviews with 82 visitors of a theme park. The interviewees were asked to define the importance of of 17 attributes in evaluating a theme park. Three alternative variations of the measure developed were examined based on the data gained from the interviews with the theme park visitors. Possible uses of the measure could include applying it in structural equation modeling to examine how individual actions affect performance, and how performance affects relevant outcomes.
