| Tiivistelmä (fin): | Diplomityöni koostuu Siilinjärven kulttuuritalon Hankeja luonnossuunnitelmista. Hankesuunnittelutyöryhmän avustuksella laadin hankesuunnitelman, jonka pohjalta tein luonnossuunnitelmani. Siinä esitän ehdotukseni Siilinjärven kulttuuritaloksi. Kulttuuritalo tarjoaa opetus- ja esiintymistilat musiikkiopistolle ja kansalaisopistolle sekä tilat erilaisille kunnan tapahtumille seminaareista konsertteihin. Hankesuunnitelmassa kartoitettiin kulttuuritalon tarpeellisuus ja hankkeen tavoitteet. Siilinjärven kulttuuritoiminnan nykyiset tilat esiteltiin. Hankesuunnitelmaan liitetyn tilaohjelman on laatinut rakennussuunnittelutoimisto Nylund Oy. Sen oheen kerättiin kulttuuritoimijoiden erityiset toiveet tilojen suhteen. Kulttuuritalon sijaintivaihtoehdoiksi valittiin viisi tonttia, joiden hyöty- ja haittatekijät analysoitiin. Analyysin pohjalta työryhmä päätti ehdottaa, että kulttuuritalo sijoitetaan Siilinjärven pääkirjaston viereen. Näin kulttuuritalo ja kirjasto muodostaisivat kulttuurikeskittymän kunnan keskustaan. Luonnossuunnitelmani sijoittuvat työryhmän valitsemalle tontille. Suunnittelun runkona käytin Nylund Oy:n laatimaa tilaohjelmaa. Kulttuuritalon tulevien käyttäjien haastattelut kuitenkin laajensivat tilaohjelmaa, silla halusin vastata heidän tarpeisiinsa mahdollisimman hyvin. Tavoitteenani oli luoda kulttuuritalon ja kirjaston tontista viihtyisä kulttuurin keidas, joka elävöittäisi Siilinjärven keskustaa ja toimisi kuntalaisten kohtaamispaikkana. Suunnitelmassani kulttuuritalo sijoittuu kirjaston eteläpuolelle. Tontti on harjun reunalla, joten korkeuserot ovat suuret. Kasurilantien puolella rakennus yhdistyy mittakaavaltaan kirjastoon, mutta kasvaa volyymiltaan rinteen laskusuuntaan. Tien puolella kulttuuritalon ja kirjaston väliin muodostuu kulttuuriaukio, joka liittää rakennukset toisiinsa. Rakennusten välillä on myös sisäyhteys. Maaston korkeuserojen takia rakennus on enimmillään nelikerroksinen ja uppoutuu osittain rinteeseen. Pääsisäänkäynti on katutasolta, jonka yläpuolella on yksi kerros ja alapuolella kaksi. Muut yleisösisäänkäynnit ovat pohjoisesta kulttuurilaitosten yhteiseltä paikoitusalueelta sekä idästä rinteen alaosasta. Huoltoliikenne toimii alimman kerroksen lastauslaiturin kautta. Toiminnallisesti rakennus jakautuu kolmeen osaan: aula- ja oleskelutiloihin, opetustiloihin ja esiintymistiloihin. Talon päätila on kolmikerroksinen aula, joka jakaa rakennuksen pohjois-etelä -suunnassa. Aula toimii oleskelu- ja orientoitumispaikkana sekä palvelee lämpiönä. Opistojen tilat sijoittuvat talon pohjoisosaan, josta on näkymä metsäiselle viheralueelle. Suuri 500 -paikkainen konsertti- ja teatterisali sijaitsee rakennuksen eteläosassa. Siihen liittyvät aulatilat avautuvat etelään jalankulkuväylälle. Pieni 300 -paikkainen konserttisali. tanssisali ja suuren salin aputilat sijaitsevat alimmassa kerroksessa. Kahvila ja näyttelytila ovat katutasossa. Rakennuksen runko on teräsbetonia. Julkisivumateriaalit ovat maanläheiset tiili ja puu, jotka liittävät rakennuksen ympäröivään rakennuskantaan sekä mäntyiseen harjumaisemaan. Tiilen rosoisuus ja puun lämpö tekevät suurimittakaavaisesta rakennuksesta inhimillisen. Huoneistoala 4 870m2, kerrosala 6 080m2, tilavuus 48 200m3. |
| Tiivistelmä (eng): | The master's thesis consists of the project plan and preliminary design plan of the cultural center for the municipality of Siilinjärvi. I made the project plan with the assistance of the municipality's project group. The project plan was the basis for the design plan of the building. The cultural center offers premises for the music school and folk high school of Siilinjärvi, as well as for municipal events ranging from seminars to concerts. In the project plan, the needs and objectives of the cultural center were surveyed. The present premises for cultural activities were investigated. The room plan of the project was made by the architectural and structural design office Nylund Oy. In addition, the users' wishes on the premises were written down. Five possible locations for the cultural center were analysed. Based on the analysis, the project group decided to propose that the building would be placed next to the Siilinjärvi library. This way, the cultural center and the library would form a cultural cluster in the center of the municipality. My design plan is situated on the site that the group chose. I based my design work on the room plan made by Nylund Oy. Interviewing the future users of the cultural center led to the expansion of the room plan, because I wanted to meet their needs as well as possible. My aim was to create a building that would enliven the center of Siilinjärvi and become an everyday meeting place for the inhabitants of the municipality. In my design plan the cultural center is located on the south side of the library. The plot is on the border of a ridge, so the differences in altitude are large. On the side of Kasurilantie Street, the building is the same scale as the library, but grows in volume towards the lower part of the slope. A cultural square unites the cultural center and the library on the street side. There is also an internal connection between the buildings. Due to the defences in altitude, the building has four storeys and is partly embedded in the ridge. The main entrance of the building is from street level, which has one storey above it and two storeys below it. The other public entrances are from the parking area on the north side and from the lower part of the slope on the east. The maintenance traffic operates through the loading dock on the lowest floor level. The main space of the building is a three-storey-high hall which divides the building in east-west direction. The hall serves as a living room and an orientation point. It is also the foyer for the concert halls. The premises of the music school and folk high school are located in the north part of the building with views towards the green area. The big concert hall, which seats· 500 people, is situated in the south part of the building. The foyer relating to it faces south and the pedestrian walkway. The small concert hall the dance hall and the utility rooms for the big concert hall are located on the lowest floor level. The café and the exhibition space are at street level. The frame of the building is reinforced concrete. The facade materials are red brick and wood which unite the building with the built environment and the pinewood landscape. The roughness of the bricks and the warmth of the wood make the large-scale building more humane. Floor area 4 870m2, Gross floor area 6 080m2, Volume 48 200m3. |
