Tiivistelmä:Employees faced with technical or organizational change form their own picture of the future impact of such change and prepare their own personal strategies for dealing with it. In such a situation corporate information policy should be aimed at providing employees with a realistic horizon for their expectations. However, various case studies, as well as the author's own research, point to grave defects in the execution of such policy in practice and as a consequence, to its ineffectiveness. Suggestions for improvement centre on finding answers the following questions: Who should be responsible for informing the employees involved in such changes? What, how and when should they be told?
