Tiivistelmä: | The implications of a particular type of heterogeneity are considered, one which characteristizes a large number of economic environments, but which has not received any systematic treatment in the literature. The heterogeneity treated here occurs when an environment consists of two types of agents referred to as responders and non-responders. Responders are meant as agents whose behaviour depends on actions chosen by other agents in the population, while non-responders refers to agents whose behaviour is independent of the actions chosen by others. In looking at environments characterized by heterogeneity, the focus will be on which type of agent has a disproportion of impact on the equilibrium outcome. |
