| Tiivistelmä: | An attempt is made to measure the level and trends in the global distribution of income over the past three decades. From a purchasing power parity data set, it was found that the global distribution of income was very unequal during 1960- 1987. Per capita income inequality tended to decrease over this period when China was included in the samples, and increase with her exclusion. |
