| Tiivistelmä: | The data from the ERS-1 satellite will be generated from a set of instruments that differ considerably in individual concept, so their outputs will be quite different in format, content and physical meaning. These data will be used in a wide range of scientific and applications domains. That's why the ERS-1 mission has been prepared in close cooperation with several different user communities. |
