| Tiivistelmä: | Investment appraisal questions have been a common feature of the Business Finance and Decisions (BFD) paper. This article looks at a typical net present value (NPV) question that includes many of the tricks that examiners commonly use and gives ground rules on how to tackle such questions so as to maximize the marks scored. A suggested solution, with a marking scheme, is included. The trick with investment appraisal questions is to produce reasonable - not necessarily correct - solutions in an orderly manner so as to attract as many marks as possible. |
