| Tiivistelmä: | Some essential features of an operational research and the definition of linear programming which is used for searching optimal solutions of linear problems are introduced.The approach to model of linear programming with respect to the transportation problems is pointed out.The solution of the real-world transportation problem in the wholesale trade company is presented in the form of numerical results that are generated by the program package LP88 based on the Simplex algorithm.Some comments about application and problems of employing such scientific method in commerce age given in the conclusion. |
