| Tiivistelmä: | A couple of years ago, two judgments of the European Court of Justice raised the hope that GATT could be invoked by individuals in direct actions before the Court of Justice, although the case-law had consistently reflected this possibility when the action was brought before a national court. The recent European Court of Justice ruling in Germany v. Council has once more dashed such hopes. |
