| Tiivistelmä: | Under the direct leadership of provincial party committee and with the state support, Fujian province has made remarkable success in the work of aiding the poor in the past 8 years. But some new problems have recently cropped up in this work. It is difficult to continue to implement a part of the former "aid to the poor" preferential policies. The funds for poverty relief will become more tight than before. And the achievement which have been made in this work need to be consolidated. Some thoughts on the work of aiding the poor in the "assault" period are as follows: enhancing consciousness, strengthening leadership, revising policy of aiding the poor, adjusting the aiding scope, stressing on the internal "hemopoiesis, advocating aiding the poor by taking the form of development. |
