| Tiivistelmä: | By the end of 1993, the municipality of Tianjin has approved 736 Taiwan-funded enterprises, with a total investment of US$ 0.82 billion by agreement. The characteristics are as follows. (1) The speed is quick and the increase was big; (2) The investment areas are concentrated and scale is gradually expanding; (3) Taiwan-funded enterprises have a broad coverage and the technology level is enhanced; (4) the investment period is extended; (5) They are mainly managed by solely founded investors. The paper sets forth suggestions to perfect China's Taiwan economic and trade regulations and laws. |
