| Tiivistelmä: | Within the procurement process, cross-functional teams have become part of a new organizational structure. Forming and using cross-functional sourcing teams, however, is no guarantee of improved performance. This article presents the findings from a research project addressing the factors impacting cross-functional sourcing team performance. These include the availability of organizational resources , participation and involvement of suppliers, internal and external decision making authority, and effective team leadership. |
