| Tiivistelmä: | An economic model is provided and evaluated for the EWMA control scheme to determine the optimal design parameters. A computerized optimization technique is employed to determine the optimal design parameters. Comparisons are performed among the EWMA, CUSUM, and standard X-control charts. |
