| Tiivistelmä: | More and more attention is being paid to problems of company management. The author's goal was to look at how ownership rights were being exercised by institutional investors. Additionally, the author asked questions regarding the activities of institutional investors, focusing on investment companies and investment-fund managers. In analyzing this area, the author used theoretical knowledge and empirical data. In practice, the author was interested in the development of policies regarding investors and in the activities of institutional investors in the companies they own. |
