| Tiivistelmä: | A shake-up in the finance and economic ministries has added to the uncertainty surrounding the government's ambitious privatisation plans. Doubt was cast on the future of the Polish government's privatisation programme, and, to a lesser extent, the policy of restructuring and privatising the banking industry in October when a restructuring of the economic and finance ministries came into effect. The case for the reorganisation was reasonable: it was designed to make the administration more responsive to the needs of an increasingly privatised economy. |
