| Tiivistelmä: | Contemporary western manufacturing mangement methods have been contrasted with Japanese methods to highlight differences between them. A review of Ford's ideas and practices from the early 1930's shows many features seen in contemporary approaches. Ford promoted many modern ideas and methods in manufacturing management that are very similar to current just-in-time practices. |
