| Tiivistelmä: | This section of the Journal reports regular forecasts of macroeconomic activity for a selection of Asia-Pacific nations. This issue gives quarterly ex ante forecasts for the USA, Japan, Korea , Australia, and New Zealand for the period through to the fourth quarter of 1999 and updates the forecasts for these countries over this horizon that were reported in the previous issue of the Journal. An analysis of past forecasting performance for the US economy is provided. |
