Tiivistelmä:Many companies are eager to form partnerships whit their suppliers, but doing so seems like an insurmountable task. This article shows how it can be done. An exact replica of the Japanese keiretsu probably cannot succeed. Chrysler's modified version, however, proves that virtually any company can transform its suppliers from distrustful adversaries into enthusiastic allies and turn its supply chain into an extended enterprise.
