| Tiivistelmä: | During the Eighth Five-Year Plan period, by the end of 1995, the foreign capital actually utilized in Hubei province amounted to US$ 3.425 billion including foreign direct investment of US$ 2.02 billion and raised foreign loans of US$ 1.405 billion. During the above period, the average annual growth rate of utilizing actually foreign capital in the whole province was 50.7%. In the future, Hubei province should seize chances, widen train of thought to enlarge the scale of using foreign investment by many means and through many channels. Besides it should enhance its quality and efficiency, strengthen and improve macro guidance in this line, and do every thing possible to make foreign-funded projects undertaken smoothly. |
