| Tiivistelmä: | The purpose of the paper is to analyze the state-of-the-art of preparation, standard of knowledge, and the ability of proprietors, managers and employees in small and medium-sized firms in Slovakia, as well as to outline the principles and methods used in this area for the forthcoming period. The analysis proper starts with a survey of the number of SMBs in Slovakia by the end of 1995 and the survey of the number of educational establishments that organize and offer accredited educational and training courses for small and medium-sized business. |
