| Tiivistelmä: | This paper identifies the factors that influence the effectiveness of site managers. It first describes the methodology used to measure managerial effectiveness and then determines the relationship between these measures and the independent variables. These independent variables are: personal variables, job conditions, project characteristics and organisational variables. Data were obtained from 30 site managers using interview questionnaires and direct observations. |
