The article analyzes leading mid-price-range software products of accounting, focusing on the key accounting functions of audit trails, controls, and reporting. There are also presented ledgers, software packages' posting methods, and data flow among modules. The reviewed products are ACCPAC, Great Plains Dynamics, Impact Encore, MAS 90, Progression, SBT Pro, Solomon, Traverse, and Visual Accounting. |
