| Tiivistelmä: | The reform and opening up as well as the economic development of China present a general trend of advancing from south to North by echelon. The Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta which have been developed in the 1980s and 1990s successively, can provide lessons for the development of the Bohai Sea Rim Region in the regional economic sustainable development. The following should be done: to economize land, water, energy and material and raise the utilization rate of resources. 2.
