| Tiivistelmä: | Among the 773 listed companies in 1997, 41 companies made losses. This paper generalizes the characteristics of these loss-making companies and analyzes the reasons for their making losses. It is attributed to the following: an error in investment due to blind policy decision, weak ability of developing products, getting out of control in internal management, cost rising by a big margin. So the main ways to solve the problem of losses are to improve the listing system for guaranteeing the quality of listed companies, promote the shift of operating mechanism of listed companies and raise their management and adinistration level. |
