| Tiivistelmä: | Sociologically oriented organizational consultants differ from management consultants whose main argument is the economic rationale of means and ends. They also differ markedly from trainers. They do not examine individual behaviors and do not try to change them. Here the focus is on the organizational relations channeling behavior: the structures, rules, mentalities, expected decisions, calculations and power relations. Their aim is to bring about shared understanding in the sense of an arrangement between the challengers and the challenged in favor of new opportunities for action. The consulting procedure is a process of moderated group communication. |
