Tiivistelmä: | At least several publics - the support of which is critical to organisational success - exists for every organisation. Because of the effect of employee attitudes and behaviours and the productivity and innovation of the enterprise, scholars and practitioners have argued for the primary of employee public. This article argues for the role of the frontline supervisor and examines the primacy of employees in the hierarchy of publics. The authors describe the necessary skills and support systems that companies must provide for their supervisors. Behavior which increases and reduces employee trust is also discussed. |
