| Tiivistelmä: | Currently many organizations launch initiatives with lofty aims to develop themselves into "learning organizations" and "innovative organizations". The literature on the concepts of "learning organization" and "innovative organization" are reviewed and it is argued that the innovative organization can be developed from the foundation of the learning organization. The five disciplines of learning organization fundamental to effective innovation. The spirit of innovation is an exercise in personal mastery. Thinking out of the box is an exercise in challenging mental models. |
