Tiivistelmä:The article examines the degree to which the largest Finnish companies have integrated corporate social responsibility (CSR) into their human resource management (HRM) policies and practices. Special attention is paid to the European Council appeal on CSR and the launch of a European-level campaign. The conclusion is that soft themes like equal opportunities, worl-life balance and integration of people experiencing difficulties in the labour market have received little attention. CSR seems to be strongest where public sector guidance and the supportive role of regulations are most evident.
