| Tiivistelmä: | Tunisian tourism plays a significant role in the economical balance of the country providing an important source of entry to foreign currency, thanks to its privileged situation, and as well as to its protected cultural, physical and environmental resources and heritage. However, the tourism of the country is concentrated on the coast leaving other areas without the same benefits and not allowing them to better their socio-economic conditions. National programs in matter of developing the tourism sector and incentives for cultural and ecological tourism have been repeatedly publicized. Yet the administrations do not seem to keep pace with the decision-makers. |
