Tiivistelmä:Between 1950 and 1980 Finland changed from an agricultural country to a post industrial welfare state. The quickness of this change is a major factor of the rapid development of the market research. The fast economic growth of the 50s started a surge in the consumer goods markets. In the late '60s many important events took place in the market research field. Now Finland has an advanced marketing research market with 15 agencies of considerable size. High-tech was received well in Finland. Now microprocessors are widespread.
